The Publicity Club of New York Demonstrates the #HAPPO Spirit
By The Publicity Club of New York
Jessica Smith, Sarah Evans and others have referred to #HAPPO as a “PR Stimulus” and The Publicity Club of New York has stepped up to help sweeten the package for the New York area public relations community.
In order to recognize and reward those employers participating in “Help a PR Pro Out Day”, the Publicity Club of New York will offer a free one-year corporate membership ($350 value including three free luncheons) to the first company, agency or institution hiring one of our PR pros who’s between jobs. Simply email me with the name of the organization and the #HAPPO hire.
The Publicity Club of NY will also be donating an individual membership ($75 value including free luncheon) . To be eligible for the random drawing, simply include #PCNY to your #HAPPO tweet. (We will be using random.org to select a winner!)
PCNY has been on the cutting edge of change affecting PR practitioners since 1940, offering PR professionals in the New York area opportunities for professional development and networking. I have personally found PCNY “Meet the Media” lunches to be incredibly valuable experiences, and encourage you to check them out. The next PCNY event, slated for Thursday, March 25, will feature food/wine reporters, bloggers, TV producers and editors. The panel will be announced next week. Job seekers should also be sure to check out the PCNY Job Bank as well.
Thank you to Peter Himler and the Publicity Club of New York for their ongoing efforts to “Help a PR Pro Out” and the special support for our #HAPPO initiative!

Very Nice article. I may write a article about this myself.
Another thing, loving the blog design. I had a similar designed blog to yours before I sold it on.
