Help a PR Pro Out design contest winner

I’m happy to announce we have a winner of the Help a PR Pro out design contest. In total 26 submissions were made by 14 different designers across the U.S. 391 votes later and we have a winner:

John Walls.

Amy Taylor and Kevin DeSoto were second and third respectively. A huge thanks to ALL the designers for submitting their concepts. And again, a public apology to Janelle Thomas, Rex Reipe and Scott Hale for either failing to initially post their ideas or completely botching the upload of their logos. Completely my fault (Arik, here) and I have no excuses. I’m truly sorry, but please know that we sincerely appreciate your effort.

Congratulations to John. As promised, we’ll be sending him copies of Deidre Breakenridge’s books, PR 2.0 and Putting the Public Back in Public Relations as well as a showcase piece in the Examiner. We’ll obviously also be using the logo on all HAPPO materials and sites going forward. Thanks again, John. Great work!
