Why would you hire me? I pride myself on being a hard worker, a strong writer and detail oriented. I believe all three of these qualities are necessary to excel in public relations.
I have completed three internships in Knoxville, Tenn. with non-profits and sports organizations. Currently I am a public relations intern with the University of Tennessee Athletic Department. I have also interned with the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame and Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee. Interning with three different organizations has allowed me to develop a diverse skill set. My experience includes writing a variety of communication materials, managing an organization’s social media presence, coordinating special events and completing secondary research.
I am a social media junkie and sports fanatic with a love for history. A position that incorporates one or all of these interests would be my dream job. I will graduate from the University of Tennessee in May 2010 with a degree in public relations. I am currently searching for entry level positions in the southeast, especially Atlanta.
Hello! I’ve heard great things about the city of Atlanta, Georgia and am trying to relocate there. Prtini.com is hosting a HAPPO guest blog today with a post answering the question why you should hire me. You can find it at http://prtini.com/double-the-happo/.
I’ve been out of college now for a semester and have gotten my feet wet at an agency in Nashville. I’ve learned so much in just 5 months and I’m ready to spread my knowledge and continue learning in an inspiring environment. Please check out my blog at http://mybstew.com/.
